No specification required. No sample costs.

We start with a simple question: what isn't working?

  • A jacket that bunches around a duty belt.
  • A patrol bag that wastes half its space.
  • A training pack that was never designed around how officers actually pack it.

Bring us a problem, a rough idea, or an unmet operational requirement. We'll work directly with your officers to design the solution, refine it fast, and move it into physical sampling, typically four weeks from the day you approve the concept.

HOW WE WORK

FROM PROBLEM
TO CUSTOM CONCEPT
IN 24 HOURS - COMPLETELY FREE

Our development model is built around speed and direct user feedback.

15-MINUTE DESIGN SESSION
Show us what isn't working. No specification or finished idea required.
CUSTOM CONCEPT WITHIN 24 HOURS
We turn operational feedback into a purpose-built design you can look at and refine.
Rapid Iteration
Your officers review it. We revise it. The loop continues until the design works.
Sample Production
Once approved, we go straight to sampling, with products in your hands in typically four weeks.

A FASTER DESIGN LOOP

Traditional procurement starts with the products already available. Discovery Defence starts with the operational problem.

01 · DEFINE THE PROBLEM

We speak directly with the people who live with the equipment: officers, trainers, quartermasters, and operational leaders. What works? What gets in the way? What breaks? What takes too long to access? What would they change if they could? Those answers become the design brief. You don't need to arrive with a specification, that's our job.

02 · DESIGN

Our team translates that feedback into a custom product concept, typically ready for review within 24 hours. Instead of waiting weeks between design meetings, feedback gets incorporated while the idea is still cheap to change.

03 · ITERATE

The first concept is rarely the final concept, and it shouldn't be. Your team reviews the product and we refine dimensions, materials, pocket layouts, access points, hardware, fit, construction and functionality until the design reflects how the equipment will actually be used. Revisions are unlimited and they don't cost you anything.

04 · SAMPLE AND FIELD TEST

Once the concept is approved we move into technical specification, material selection and physical sampling, typically about four weeks to a sample in your hands. Your officers test the product in the environment it was designed for, and their feedback goes straight back into the next iteration before anything goes to production.

05 · DEPLOY

Discovery Defence manages manufacturing, quality control, documentation, logistics and ongoing supply, through a compliant procurement path.

The design costs you nothing. So does the sample.

We don't charge agencies to understand a problem, draw the solution, or build the first physical sample. Your team gets to hold the product and run it in real conditions before anyone talks about a purchase order.

If it doesn't solve what your officers described, you owe us nothing and you keep the samples.

We earn revenue on production and supply. Our incentive is to design something your team will want to reorder, not to bill you for drawings.

Protected

Your officers should have a voice in their equipment.

The people using equipment understand its weaknesses better than anyone. They know what's hard to access, uncomfortable to wear, or awkward to carry.

We give those officers a direct role in the design process. We listen, translate into practical designs, and refine through rapid feedback until it's right.

Design

Tailored to your agency, not a catalog.

Standard-issue gear is only the starting point. When the mission calls for something specific (a modified carrier, a department-branded kit, a tool that doesn't exist yet), our design team takes it from concept to fielded equipment.

01
Spec-driven
Every build starts from your written requirement and real operating conditions.
02
Prototyped
You review and field-test a sample before anything is produced at scale.
03
Accountable
A single point of contact from design through delivery and ongoing support.

A photograph, a sketch, an existing product, or a short explanation is enough to begin.
